Study Space

The Engineering study spaces in Carpenter Hall include the first-floor main reading room, which is open to any current Cornell faculty, staff or student via their ID card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week beginning with the fall 2011 semester. The main reading room includes 25 computers, plus the ACCEL (Academic Computing Center Engineering) Blue Room with additional computers.

The main reading room also includes several small group study rooms, each with a computer. These study spaces are in high demand and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The second floor above the main Reading Room includes 3 additional ACCEL classrooms (the Red, Orange and Green Rooms) with over 80 more computers. Please check ACCEL for their hours, as they differ from those of the Engineering Library itself.
