The Engineering study spaces in Carpenter Hall include the first-floor main reading room, which is open to any current Cornell faculty, staff or student via their ID card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except for December week break through New Years. The main reading room includes 25 computers, plus there are other rooms – Blue, Orange, Red, and Green Rooms with additional computers, which may be reserved.

Except for holidays and weekends, reference librarians are usually available from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
